DevSecops Engineer

Job Description:

CI/CD & Automation

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions • Automate build, test, security scanning, and deployment workflows

• Enforce best practices for versioning, branching, and release management Containerization & Kubernetes

• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker

• Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot workloads on Kubernetes / Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) • Implement Kubernetes best practices for scalability, resiliency, and security

• Collaborate on cluster upgrades, monitoring, and capacity planning Infrastructure & Operations • Perform Linux system administration, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and automation

• Support platform observability, logging, and alerting

• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives Collaboration & Governance

• Work closely with development teams to onboard services onto the platform • Define platform standards, templates, and golden paths

• Document platform capabilities, usage guidelines, and operational procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with Backstage (developer portals, plugins, integrations)

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions

• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, preferably AKS

• Good understanding of Linux system administration

• Familiarity with REST APIs, authentication, and security best practices

• Good to have – experience in TypeScript and ReactJS, Node JS

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)

• Knowledge of Azure Cloud infrastructure

• Experience with monitoring tools

• Understanding of DevOps and SRE principles Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work across teams and communicate effectively

• Ownership mindset with a focus on reliability and quality

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
