Project /Program Manager - Job Description

1. 15+ yrs of experience with 10+ years in project management

2. Capability to run OSS projects and manage various stakeholders

3. Should have hands-on knowledge on OSS platforms

4. Ability to manager projects upto $5m

5. Knowledge on waterfall and agile projects

6. Ability to streamline activities, manage teams, work on reporting, financials etc

7. Capability to drive the project independently and deliver results basis the defined KPIs on cost, quality and schedule.

8. Able to assign and allocate work, mentor and coach team members and drive efficiency

9. Ability to define the create, maintain and organize project plan and resources

10. Ability to report metrics and achieve the KPIs as defined in the project plan

11. Run the program meetings and discussions and navigate through various challenges that the team might run into

12. Ability to effectively manage program and project risks and define mitigation strategies and the ability to bring the program into Green status in case of contingent situations

13. Ability to manage and work across cross functional teams and be the central anchor and driving force for the team.
