A newly created leadership team is based in Melbourne, and we are helping build out the tech & product team to help them achieve their growth strategy.

About the role
We are seeking a talented and passionate mid to senior level UX Designer to join the growing Australian team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the user experience of our data and insights platform. You will be responsible for leading the design process from ideation to execution, collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences that delight our customers and drive business goals.
Role responsibilities
- User Research & Analysis: Plan and conduct user research using a variety of methods, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.
- UX/UI Design: Lead the design process from ideation to execution, creating user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design solutions.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into user-centred design solutions.
- Testing & Iteration: Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback on designs, identify areas for improvement, and validate design decisions.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Share your expertise and contribute to the team's collective knowledge by leading design workshops, critiques, and brainstorming sessions.
Required skills & experience
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in designing for SaaS and B2B products
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Figma, including auto layout, component libraries, and prototyping.
- Experience with other design tools such as Sketch and Adobe XD.
- Familiarity with user research tools and methods.
- UX Skills: Deep understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
