Qualifications:
- Educational Background: BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and client management skills; ability to create collaboration and shared vision across parties with conflicting priorities
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Agile project management essentials
- Technical/ software development or architecture experience in web/mobile applications including 5+ years in business facing role
- Project/product management experience within a software development life cycle for web/mobile applications
- 3+ years' experience in Marketplace or E-commerce
- 5+ years' experience in product development
- Having previously had team management responsibility
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to coordinate project schedules, budgets, and staffing
- Drive and manage the solution concept development process, and maintain subject matter expertise in the project’s domain
- Create and maintain regularly the solution vision, roadmap, and backlog of work through the project's life cycle
- Take ownership of the solution functionality
- Effectively communicate the solution vision, roadmap, and backlog of work -- including success criteria -- to developers so that they can provide work estimates and accept and complete work to the satisfaction of the stakeholders
- Serve as the customer proxy and decision point to represent the stakeholders in the project
- Communicate with the customer on a regular basis to provide feedback on progress of implementation of the vision
- Verify the functionality and quality of project products
- Ensure end-user acceptance and understanding
- Manage stakeholder satisfaction and ROI; while serving as the functional and/or client needs expert for a product
- Ensure that what the team delivers to the stakeholder meets both contractual requirements and established acceptance criteria, including expected quality and performance
- Own product backlog and requirement prioritization
- Maintain the overall product vision and represent the end customer to the development team
Key Result Areas:
- Development, delivery, maintenance and retirement of a specific product
- Satisfaction of customers of the product
- Backlog management and continuous improvement of product both in terms of product quality and in terms of operational changes
