Job Description

• Scrum, AI - Experience in Microsoft Copilot, ADO (Azure DevOps), Good Communication.
• Experience with Azure DevOps tools.
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of basic software development methodologies and fundamentals (Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, Lean, Waterfall, etc.).
• Experience with developing, testing and deploying software utilizing a rapid, iterative delivery method.
• Agile Practices – expert understanding of Scrum practices and related agile tools and techniques. Understanding of Scaled Agile environments

• Lead Sprint Planning sessions ensuring the commitments made are appropriate and uphold scrum principles.

• Work with the Product Owner to understand the business priorities and items to be refined in upcoming sprints.
• Ensure Product Owner is informed if changes occur that impact delivery to the business.
• Work with other Scrum Masters to ensure alignment of priorities and that dependencies are delivered in the appropriate sprints to support other teams’ delivery commitments.
• Actively participate in activities related to agile adoption across the organization.
• Drive weekly backlog refinement sessions with the team, ensuring work items are estimated and ‘ready-for-work’ per the Product Owner priorities.
• Provide input to and participate in Release Planning.
• Coordinate release planning with other Scrum teams throughout the organization.
• Advanced interpersonal skills – able to establish strong working relationships and promote bi-directional communication within and across teams.

Qualifications:

• Intermediate to advanced understanding of basic software development methodologies and fundamentals (Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, Lean, Waterfall, etc.).
• Experience with developing, testing and deploying software utilizing a rapid, iterative delivery method.
• Understanding of all facets of the software development life cycle including and the iterative process that includes: planning, requirements management, development, quality assurance, change management and release management.
• Exposure or awareness of continuous integration and test-driven development practices, test automation and tools.
• Experience with Azure DevOps tools is a plus.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting a team as a Scrum Master and working in a software development environment.
• Experience working in an iterative Development environment, utilizing Scrum practices.
• Experience with XP development practices preferred.
• Experience with Scrum, Lean and/or XP inspired practices required
• Experience with continuous delivery preferred.
