Senior Product Designer

Role Description The Senior Product Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. This position is responsible for leading end-to-end product design initiatives, from discovery and concept development through detailed visual design and delivery. Day-to-day activities include conducting and synthesizing user research, facilitating design thinking workshops, creating wireframes and interactive prototypes, and collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals. The Senior Product Designer will define design standards, iterate on user experiences based on feedback and data, and ensure that all digital products reflect a consistent, high-quality visual and interaction language. This role also mentors junior designers and contributes to evolving design processes and tools across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create attractive and professional product packaging designs, labels, cartons, stickers, and print materials.

• Develop custom illustrations, icons, patterns, vector artwork, and product graphics.

• Prepare final print-ready files with correct size, bleed, margins, dielines, color profiles, and production specifications.

• Design brand identity materials including logos, visual systems, brand guidelines, brochures, catalogs, and marketing creatives.

• Create product mockups, presentation layouts, and visual concepts for internal and client approvals.

• Ensure all designs are aligned with brand standards, typography, color theory, and layout principles.

• Coordinate with marketing, production, and management teams to understand design requirements.

• Review final artwork carefully before printing to avoid errors in text, alignment, colors, and sizing.

• Stay updated with latest design trends, packaging styles, printing methods, and creative tools.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

• Excellent experience in illustration and custom vector artwork.

• Strong understanding of packaging design and print-ready file preparation.

• Good knowledge of brand identity design and visual systems.

• Strong typography, color theory, layout, and composition skills.

• Ability to develop creative concepts and convert ideas into high-quality designs.

• Good understanding of printing methods, materials, finishes, dielines, and production requirements.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

• Good communication skills and ability to understand feedback clearly.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in product packaging, labels, cartons, brochures, catalogs, and promotional materials.

• Portfolio showcasing packaging design, branding, illustration, and print design work.

• Experience working with product-based, retail, FMCG, fashion, food, beauty, or lifestyle brands will be an added advantage.
