Role description

As one of our Product Designers, you will play a key role in designing and developing new products and collections that reflect Tom Wood’s commitment to quality, innovation, craftsmanship, and responsibility.

Working closely with the Creative Director, Head of Product Development, the Product Development team, suppliers, and other key stakeholders, you will contribute across the full product journey, from concept and research to technical development, sampling, and final execution.

The role combines creative design thinking with strong technical execution. You will work hands-on with design development, CAD and 3D modelling, material exploration, supplier communication, and strategic research to push creative boundaries while improving our development processes.

The ideal candidate has a refined eye for design, strong understanding of jewellery craftsmanship, excellent 3D modelling skills, and a structured yet creative approach to product development.

The role reports directly to our Head of Product Development.

  • Use CAD and 3D software to create accurate design models, technical drawings, prototypes, and tech packs
  • Research materials, production techniques, innovation opportunities, and sourcing solutions to strengthen product development and responsible design practices
  • Utilise the Tom Wood Tech Lab for sustainable sampling, prototyping, and product exploration
  • Maintain organised documentation, product records, and administrative workflows to support efficient project execution
  • Stay informed on relevant design, jewellery, material, and industry trends to support creative direction and strategic decision-making

Whom we are looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience from similar role
  • Experience in fashion, jewellery, or accessories is an advantage
  • Interest and understanding of industry trends, materials, and production techniques

  • Highly self-driven and structured, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • A team player with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and oral)
  • Experience working in an international setting is an advantage

What we offer

  • A key role in a globally recognised, design-driven company with ambitious growth plans
  • Inspiring workspace in the Grünerløkka district of Oslo, Norway
  • Competitive pension, health, and travel insurance packages
  • Profit sharing program (bonus)
