About the Role

The company is seeking a talented Mobile Engineer (iOS) to join its growing Mobile Engineering team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. Working within a cross-functional Agile team, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Backend Engineers, and QA teams to build scalable mobile solutions using modern iOS technologies. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and cloud-based mobile development, along with a passion for writing clean, maintainable code and delivering high-performance mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance native iOS applications.
• Build modern mobile user interfaces using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Storyboards.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver user-focused mobile features.
• Develop scalable, reusable, and maintainable application architecture following engineering best practices.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code while participating in peer code reviews.
• Implement unit tests, UI tests, and automated testing to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve application bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
• Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile application releases.
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, backend services, and cloud-based platforms.
• Utilize analytics, crash reporting, and monitoring tools to improve application performance and user experience.
• Contribute to mobile architecture decisions, technical documentation, and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior developers through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and technical guidance.
• Stay current with emerging iOS technologies, Apple frameworks, and mobile development best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience developing native iOS applications.
• Strong expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Storyboards, and Swift Package Manager.
• Experience building scalable, production-ready iOS applications.
• Strong understanding of iOS application architecture, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience implementing automated testing using XCTest and managing beta releases through TestFlight.
• Experience using GitHub for version control and GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and cloud-based backend services.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) for shared business logic.
• Experience with AWS Serverless, cloud-native architectures, or mobile backend services.
• Familiarity with Amplitude, Braze, Firebase Crashlytics, and Stripe SDK integrations.
• Experience implementing server-driven UI architectures.
• Experience mentoring developers and contributing to engineering communities of practice.
