Data Analyst

Job Description

The Data Analyst role is designed for professionals with a strong foundation in data analytics, reporting, and data engineering concepts. The role focuses on supporting data preparation, analysis, dashboard development, and reporting activities to help organizations make data-driven decisions.

The candidate will work closely with senior team members, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to develop analytical solutions, prepare datasets, and create meaningful visualizations and reports.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and validation activities to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL workflows under the guidance of senior team members.
• Expertise in structured and semi-structured datasets from multiple business sources.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Collaborate with business users and analytics teams to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• Support end-to-end analytics lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Prepare technical and functional documentation related to reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Troubleshooting data, reporting issues, and support optimization activities.
• Continuously learn and upskill in analytics, BI, and emerging data technologies.
• Contribute to internal capability building, reusable assets, and best practices

Key Skills & Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or BI development.
• Good understanding of data warehousing, data modelling, and ETL concepts.
• Experience in SQL, data transformation, and any data engineering/ETL tools such as: Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SSIS, Alteryx, Informatica, KNIME, or similar tools
• Experience in dashboard and report development using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Ability to design executive-grade dashboards that adhere to strong UI and UX principles. Knowledge of Figma or similar design tools is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with large datasets and performance optimization
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills
• Experience in consulting or client-facing environments.
• Willingness to travel onsite on short notice based on project and client requirements
