Your Mission

As head of finance, you will build and lead a modern international finance organization that supports rapid global growth.

You will transform finance into a strategic business partner by delivering financial insight, operational excellence and scalable processes across multiple countries.

This is a hands-on executive role where strategic thinking and execution go hand in hand.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Executive Leadership

• Act as the strategic financial partner to the CEO and shareholders.
• Lead the global finance organization.
• Develop and execute the financial strategy supporting international expansion.
• Participate in strategic decision-making and investment opportunities.

Finance & Governance

• Group consolidation and international reporting.
• IFRS, Dutch GAAP and statutory compliance.
• Internal controls and corporate governance.
• External audits and financial risk management.

Treasury & Corporate Finance

• Cash flow and working capital optimization.
• Banking relationships and financing facilities.
• Trade finance, inventory financing and debtor financing.
• Capital structure and liquidity management.

Growth & Transformation

• Support acquisitions, due diligence and post-merger integration.
• Lead ERP optimization and finance transformation.
• Drive automation and AI initiatives across Finance.
• Develop KPI dashboards and management reporting.

Building Your Team

One of your first priorities will be building a best-in-class finance department.

You'll recruit, mentor and develop professionals who will grow alongside CBOX while creating a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.

Who You Are

You're an ambitious finance leader who enjoys building businesses—not just managing numbers.

You combine strong financial expertise with commercial insight and leadership.

You bring:

• 12+ years of progressive finance experience.
• At least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, ACA or CMA.
• Extensive IFRS knowledge.
• Experience with international multi-entity organizations.
• Strong treasury, cash flow and financing experience.
• M&A experience is a strong advantage.
• Experience leading ERP implementations and finance transformation.
• A hands-on mentality with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience within logistics, shipping, leasing, trading or other asset-intensive businesses is highly preferred.
