Game QA Lead

We're looking for an experienced Game QA Lead to drive quality across every stage of game development.

In this role, you'll work closely with designers, engineers, and producers to drive quality throughout the development lifecycle, improve testing processes, and ensure every game release meets the highest quality standards.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end QA efforts across functional, performance, automation, and code quality testing to ensure successful game releases
• Manage and mentor the QA team by planning work, assigning priorities, reviewing deliverables, and supporting team growth
• Drive continuous improvements in QA processes, testing methodologies, automation, and engineering best practices
• Develop and oversee comprehensive test strategies, plans, and execution throughout the development lifecycle
• Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and producers to identify quality risks early and improve development efficiency
• Review defects, prioritize issues, and drive timely resolutions with cross-functional teams
• Leverage automation, scripting, and debugging tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage
• Monitor project quality, release readiness, and testing metrics while proactively identifying technical and delivery risks
• Champion a culture of quality across the development team

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of Game QA experience, with prior experience leading or mentoring QA teams
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, game development workflows, and release processes
• Experience testing mobile or H5 games across multiple devices, platforms, and operating systems
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, JavaScript, or Shell), with experience developing test automation or QA tooling
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, client-server architecture, performance optimization, and security testing
• Ability to read and understand production code to perform impact analysis, design effective test strategies, and troubleshoot complex issues
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
• Passion for games with a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience with frontend performance optimization, including FPS optimization and memory leak analysis
• Experience building or scaling automated testing frameworks
• Experience supporting LiveOps or live game releases
• Experience working on SLG or other large-scale mobile games
