Whoever you are and whatever your role is, with Luminor, you will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build a local banking champion.

We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to join our Security Architecture team in the Technology and Security Department and play a critical role in shaping the security posture of our services.

In this role, you will design the solution architecture, perform security assessments, and provide hands-on security expertise throughout the full delivery lifecycle, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards of cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.

This is a key position where you will influence architectural decisions, elevate security engineering practices, and guide teams in delivering secure, resilient, and compliant solutions.

You will further develop your professional skills through close collaboration with experienced international colleagues and exposure to the latest cloud and security technologies.

How You Will Make an Impact:

Security Architecture & Advisory

  • Act as the lead Security SME, defining security requirements and guiding secure solution design.
  • Design solution architecture for internal security platforms and technology services, including areas such as DLP, PKI, IAM/PAM, and SIEM.
  • Advise technology and business stakeholders by reviewing architectures, validating requirements, and recommending secure design approaches.

Risk Assessment & Assurance

  • Perform security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and threat analyses, providing clear remediation guidance.
  • Ensure security controls are correctly implemented and coordinate assurance activities such as vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and audits.

Secure Engineering Enablement

  • Define requirements and architecture patterns for integrating application security practices such as SAST, DAST, and SCA into CI/CD pipelines, including security quality gates.
  • Support vulnerability triage and guide secure adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-driven tooling.
  • Own technical competence, translating security requirements into actionable architecture and engineering controls.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Build strong cross-team relationships to drive pragmatic, consistent security outcomes.
  • Contribute to information protection strategies, security initiatives, and domain-wide maturity improvements.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

Required

  • Proven experience in security architecture, solution architecture, or secure system design.
  • Practical knowledge of security architecture principles, threat modelling, access control, encryption, logging, and secure data handling.
  • Ability to communicate complex security topics, security risks and design recommendations clearly.
  • Fluent English in spoken and written communication.

Preferred

  • Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated environments.
  • Hands-on experience with IAM/PAM, PKI, DLP, SIEM, vulnerability management, penetration testing, cloud security, or application security tooling.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD security controls.
  • Experience with cloud security architecture and security control implementation in Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments is considered an advantage.
