We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Release Captain to join Mobile & Web Platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the release lifecycle across multiple products and teams. You will ensure that releases are delivered predictably, efficiently, and with high quality, aligning with business goals and customer expectations.

How You Will Make an Impact:


  • Act as a Release Captain for mobile app releases, owning the release lifecycle from planning to production
  • Plan, schedule, and manage mobile app releases across multiple environments (iOS, Android)
  • Manage releases in App Store and Google Play, including submission, approvals, and rollout strategies
  • Apply a strong understanding of Git-based version control systems and branching strategies, with the ability to ensure end-to-end traceability between code changes, tickets, and releases
  • Coordinate cross-team release activities
  • Ensure all release readiness criteria are met, including testing, compliance (e.g., app store requirements), documentation, and approvals; lead go/no-go meetings to make informed release decisions
  • Maintain release calendars and communicate release schedules, risks, and status updates
  • Monitor post-release performance and coordinate hotfixes if needed
  • Identify risks and blockers, and proactively drive resolution
  • Continuously improve release processes, tooling, and automation practices
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and security standards


What Makes You a Great Fit:


  • Proven experience as a Release Manager, Delivery Manager, or in a similar role within software development
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release processes
  • Strong understanding of Git-based version control systems and branching strategies, with the ability to ensure end-to-end traceability between code changes, tickets, and releases
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitLab, SonarQube, Artifactory, Firebase, Xcode, TestFlight, App Store Connect, Fastlane)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level
