Scrum Master

Nexeo is currently looking for an IT Production Security Scrum Master for one of the leading financial institutions in Belgium.

You will join the IT Continuity & Cyber Resiliency domain, a strategic area responsible for strengthening the resilience of the bank’s critical services, applications, and infrastructure against major incidents, cyber-attacks, and disaster scenarios.

As part of an ambitious transformation program, you will contribute to the deployment of a third datacenter dedicated to hosting vital banking services in case of extreme operational or cyber incidents. This includes end-to-end service analysis, infrastructure deployment, cyber resilience testing, failover exercises, and continuous improvement of security capabilities.

In addition to your Scrum Master responsibilities, you will support the coordination and delivery of cyber resiliency, IT continuity, and security initiatives across multiple stakeholders and Agile teams.

Your Responsibilities

Scrum Master Activities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
• Promote Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement within the squad.
• Support Product Owners in backlog management, prioritization, and delivery planning.
• Help teams remove impediments and improve collaboration, transparency, and self-organization.
• Monitor team capacity, sprint velocity, and delivery performance indicators.
• Coordinate dependencies and interactions between squads, tribes, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure successful delivery of sprint commitments, Definition of Done (DoD), and Agile objectives.
• Contribute to the Continuous Improvement Roadmap and support the resolution of structural delivery challenges.
• Participate actively in the Scrum Master Community of Practice (CoP) to share best practices and drive Agile maturity.

Cyber Resiliency & Security Activities

• Support the development and continuous improvement of IT Security, Cyber Resiliency, and IT Continuity solutions.
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of security frameworks, architectures, methodologies, processes, and governance models.
• Coordinate initiatives related to disaster recovery, cyber resilience testing, failover exercises, and business continuity planning.
• Assist in the deployment and operational management of security infrastructure and resiliency platforms.
• Support incident, change, and release management activities within the security domain.
• Ensure security services remain aligned with evolving business needs and regulatory requirements.
• Define and monitor KPIs, controls, and performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of security services.
• Analyze trends, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and contribute to the enhancement of security operations and resilience capabilities.

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, Agile Project Manager, or Agile Coach.
• Strong experience within IT Security, Cyber Security, Cyber Resiliency, IAM, Infrastructure Security, or IT Continuity environments.
• Experience working in large-scale Agile organizations.
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination capabilities.
• Ability to manage complex dependencies across multiple teams and domains.
• Delivery-oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality and execution.
