Veta Virtual is hiring an HR Specialist for a high-growth client in the Fintech and Cryptocurrency industry. This is a collaborative, detail-driven HR role for someone who thrives supporting the full employee lifecycle — keeping HR systems running smoothly, employees well-supported, and data accurate inside a fast-paced global organization.
🔑 Your Role:
You will serve as a primary HR point of contact for employees — supporting operations, administering Paylocity, coordinating onboarding and offboarding, ensuring compliance, and preparing executive-ready reporting for senior leadership. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Serving as the primary HR contact for employee questions on policies, procedures, and general employment matters — providing first-level employee relations support.
- Coordinating all onboarding and offboarding workflows — paperwork, system setup, orientation, exit interviews, and final documentation.
- Administering Paylocity — configuring records, permissions, workflows, and resolving system issues for employees and managers.
- Creating HR reports, dashboards, and executive-ready PowerPoint presentations — analyzing headcount, turnover, and workforce metrics for senior leadership.
- Maintaining personnel files and supporting compliance — including EEO-1, labor surveys, audits, and U.S. employment law adherence.
- Assisting managers with documentation, coaching conversations, and policy interpretation — fostering a positive, inclusive culture at every touchpoint.
✅ What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent — with 2–5 years of progressive HR experience.
- HRIS administration experience — Paylocity strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR compliance.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills — able to build reports and executive presentations independently.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and discreet — you handle sensitive information with professionalism and sound judgment.
- Bonus: SHRM-CP or PHR certification; multi-state workforce experience; fintech or high-growth company background.
- To be considered for this role, you must be currently based in Latin America (LATAM) or Europe.
