Senior Web Designer (Remote)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Web Designer based in Switzerland.

This role offers the opportunity to shape high-impact digital experiences for a global client base across diverse industries. You will work in a fully remote, distributed environment where creativity, autonomy, and ownership are central to how work gets done. As a senior designer, you will take projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring strong visual quality and user experience across all outputs. You will collaborate closely with project management while maintaining full responsibility for your design work. The environment is fast-paced, international, and highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on craft, reliability, and continuous improvement. This position is ideal for a designer who thrives on variety, independence, and consistent creative execution.

Accountabilities

You will be responsible for delivering end-to-end web and UI design solutions, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet client expectations and project goals. You will manage multiple design assignments simultaneously while maintaining consistency, creativity, and adherence to deadlines.

• Lead the full design lifecycle from concept development through final delivery across web and UI projects
• Create original visual designs using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Sketch
• Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality and timely delivery
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment with client requirements and feedback
• Adapt designs across different industries and brand styles for a global client base
• Ensure strong attention to usability, aesthetics, and responsive design principles
• Continuously refine work based on feedback and maintain high design standards
  
  

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings solid hands-on experience in web and UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating both creativity and execution. You are comfortable working independently in a remote setup and managing your time effectively across multiple priorities.

• 3+ years of experience in UI and web design (freelance or full-time)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and/or Sketch
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end design projects independently
• Strong portfolio showcasing web and digital design work
• Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a structured schedule aligned with US Eastern Time (9 AM - 6 PM ET)
• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and continuously improve
