Product Design II

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Design II based in Brazil.

In this role, you will help shape and evolve digital experiences that directly impact how students, parents, and schools interact within a connected educational ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing end-to-end user experiences across complex products, turning challenging problems into clear, intuitive, and scalable solutions. Working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data teams, you will contribute both to strategic product decisions and hands-on execution. This is a highly collaborative environment where research, usability, and data-driven insights guide every design choice. You will play a key role in improving product consistency and elevating the overall user experience through thoughtful interaction and interface design. Beyond execution, you will act as a design reference within the team, supporting peers and helping mature design practices across squads. The role combines autonomy, impact, and the opportunity to influence products used at scale in the education space.

Accountabilities

• Lead end-to-end product design projects, from discovery and problem definition through to delivery and implementation.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to create simple, effective, and user-centered solutions aligned with business goals.
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to validate assumptions and inform design decisions.
• Translate complex problems into clear user flows, journeys, wireframes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
• Contribute to product strategy discussions with a strong focus on user experience and system thinking.
• Create high-quality prototypes, specifications, and interaction designs with strong attention to detail.
• Use qualitative and quantitative data to guide decisions and measure the impact of design solutions.
• Contribute to the evolution and consistency of the Design System across multiple products and features.
• Participate in design critiques, reviews, and collaborative feedback sessions with other designers.
• Act as a design reference within the team, supporting and mentoring junior designers when needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Solid experience as a Product Designer working on digital products.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex design projects end-to-end.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with Product and Engineering.
• Strong expertise in UX, UI, information architecture, and user flows.
• Experience conducting user research and validating design solutions.
• Data-informed mindset, with the ability to connect design decisions to metrics and business context.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking, execution quality, and impact.
• Experience with complex digital products, platforms, or scalable ecosystems (plus).
• Familiarity with agile environments, experimentation frameworks, and product metrics (plus).
• Experience contributing to or evolving Design Systems (plus).
• Knowledge of accessibility and usability best practices (plus).
• Experience mentoring junior designers (plus).
• Background in B2B, SaaS, or fintech environments (plus).
