Senior Frontend Developer

VALE Partners have been engaged by an internationally recognised Brisbane technology company to help expand their software engineering team. This is a frontend-focused role sitting inside a cross-functional feature team of full-stack engineers, product owners, QA and designers.

Role Overview

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and performant frontend applications across the platform
• Develop new epics and features while maintaining and improving existing functionality
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and the CI/CD release cadence
• Improve codebase quality in line with current engineering best practices

What You'll Ideally Have

• Experience working end to end on projects built with React and TypeScript, shipping them to production and living with the resulting support work
• Experience working with a state management library like MobX-State-Tree or Redux
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling like NX and ViteE
• A history of working in engineering teams that value automated testing and rigorous code review processes
