Together, we are building an autonomous accounting system for the smallest businesses and the accountants who serve them, combining the latest AI technology with seamless workflows.

About the role

As our Senior Platform Engineer, you are the one who makes sure our platform is secure, observable, and predictable in production, and that it stays that way as we grow. You work closely with the CTO, the product owner, and the rest of the team, and take ownership of both architecture and day-to-day quality. Since we are growing, you should also expect to pitch in wherever it is needed.

What you'll do

• Platform and operations: make sure our code ships to production safely and predictably, and stays there
• Security and compliance: own security in production, and take responsibility for us being a trustworthy partner to clients, auditors, and regulators
• Architecture: together with the CTO and product owner, define how our system should fit together over the long term
• Production visibility: own our ability to see what is actually happening, from a user's request all the way through the stack
• Quality and discipline: set the standard for how we work with code, tests, and quality, and live by it yourself in the daily work

Who we're looking for

• You have 5+ years of experience as a backend or platform engineer, with ownership of a production platform
• You have solid GCP experience, or an equivalent AWS background you can quickly translate
• You have experience with multi-tenant architecture and isolation
• You are strong in TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, and Redis
• You have hands-on DevOps experience, from CI/CD pipelines to infrastructure as code
• You bring a curious, proactive approach to new technology

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech or accounting (accounting systems, banking, PSD2, and the like)
• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or other AI tooling orchestration
• Experience with Anthropic Claude or other LLM orchestration in production
