Oradeo Recruitment are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading contractor in Wexford. This role involves the full lifecycle management of one large or multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. This is a key leadership position offering the opportunity to work on complex projects while driving project success through strong technical, commercial, and management expertise.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead the successful delivery of projects through all phases, from pre-construction to handover
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders, including site and commercial teams
- Manage and coordinate design team relationships and the design development process, including RFIs and workshops
- Oversee subcontractors, engineers, and site teams to ensure efficient project execution
- Plan and monitor weekly work programmes and provide regular progress reports
- Ensure project milestones and key deliverables are achieved in line with programme targets
- Work closely with the commercial team to align project delivery with budget and financial objectives
- Report progress to senior management, ensuring alignment with overall programme and strategy
- Promote and maintain a strong health & safety culture across all project activities
- Chair and attend regular project and management meetings
- Manage the full day-to-day project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction
Necessary Skills & Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Trade background or equivalent practical experience is advantageous
- Proven experience in a Project Manager role within construction or civil engineering
- Strong commercial awareness and financial management capability
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to drive performance and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
- Technically proficient with a strong understanding of construction processes and project delivery
- Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD)
