Development Manager

The Opportunity

An established international renewable energy developer is seeking a Development Manager to support the advancement of a growing portfolio of onshore wind projects across Germany.

This is an excellent opportunity for a development professional with 2–4 years of experience who is looking to take ownership of projects and play a key role in Germany's energy transition.

The Role

Working as part of a highly experienced development team, you will be responsible for progressing onshore wind projects from early-stage development through permitting and key project milestones.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the development of onshore wind projects across Germany
• Coordinating permitting activities and stakeholder engagement
• Liaising with municipalities, authorities, consultants, landowners, and external partners
• Supporting environmental, technical, and planning workstreams
• Monitoring project risks, timelines, and budgets
• Contributing to the growth and successful delivery of the company's renewable energy pipeline

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in renewable energy development, project development, infrastructure, real estate, or a related sector
• Exposure to onshore wind projects is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of project development processes and stakeholder management
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Fluent German and professional English language skills
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
• Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin
