Senior ML Engineer - Global Banking Client - Long Term B2B / Freelancing

Amazing opportunity to join a Pan-European Banking client in critical project in the development, deployment and monitoring of AI services. Unique opportunity allowing you to facilitate the communication between AI & Analytics teams and IT production with regards to the deployment of ML models, ensuring that models put in production are equipped with the appropriate data pipelines and monitoring.

Contract: 6 months rolling

Languages: English

Location: Brussels (2-3 days onsite per week)

To be successful in this role you must have proven expertise in deploying CI/CD pipelines, scripting in Python and knowledge in AI platforms

Key Responsibilities / skills

• Design, build and deploy production-ready Machine Learning and AI solutions.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines, including automated training, testing, deployment, monitoring and retraining.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and scalable model deployment.
• Write and maintain high-quality Python code for automation, integration and ML workflows.
• Deploy, support and optimise AI services using enterprise AI platforms and MLOps best practices.
• Work closely with Data Scientists and IT teams to move ML models from development into production.
• Apply code, model and data versioning to ensure reproducibility and governance.
• Monitor model performance, data quality and operational stability, implementing improvements where required.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and learning.
