👥 Your role in the team

• Architectural Evolution: You will further develop our multi-tenant architecture to operate over 1,000 individual business instances with high performance during massive B2C traffic peaks.
• AI Integration: You design and implement AI-powered backend services to generate valuable insights from millions of user interactions.
• Engineering Excellence: You design robust REST APIs with Python/Django and optimize business-critical data models in PostgreSQL.
• Systems Engineering: You work on the stability and scalability of our infrastructure (GCP, Kubernetes) and ensure a modern CI/CD pipeline.
• Technical Sparring: As an experienced team member, you influence technical decisions through code reviews and architecture discussions at eye level.

Qualifications

• SaaS Deep Dive: In-depth knowledge of multi-tenancy, API design, and handling large relational data sets.
• Infrastructure: Confident handling of SQL (performance tuning), Docker, and modern cloud-native environments (preferably GCP).
• Legal: A valid work permit for Austria.
• Proficiency level: Negotiation-level English and fluent German for precise communication within the team.

Qualifications

• Professional Track Record: Extensive experience (5+ years) in developing complex web applications with Python and Django.
• Future-Tech: Practical experience or strong technological understanding for integrating AI models into production backends.

Education

• Education: Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or comparable seniority demonstrated through proven success in scaled systems.

🎁 What we offer

• The gross annual salary for this position ranges between €50,000 and €75,000 (full-time).
• Depending on the relevant seniority and proven expertise, there is a willingness to pay above the standard.
