About the Role:
Reporting directly to the VP of Platform Engineering & MLOps, the Technical Team Lead (TTL) serves as the single point of accountability for technical delivery quality while managing the day-to-day operations of their team. This role is primarily a full-stack software engineering leadership position, dedicating approximately 80% of its scope to the design, delivery, and operational quality of enterprise-grade web applications, APIs, and services.
The remaining 20% of the role leverages a working familiarity with data systems and cloud data platforms, allowing the TTL to contribute to integration design and partner effectively with Data Engineering and AI teams. In addition to direct people management, the TTL owns architecture, build oversight, code quality gates, and release safety. Furthermore, the role includes AI orchestration planning, where the TTL determines how AI agents are structured and directed for each project while ensuring that AI-generated code consistently meets the same rigorous standards as human-written code.
