Salary: From AUD $85,000 per annum plus superannuation

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior / Associate Full Stack Developer with a minimum of 1 year full-time commercial experience to join our development team. The successful candidate will be involved in developing, maintaining, testing, and supporting web-based applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and JavaScript technologies
• Build and support backend services, APIs, and database-driven applications
• Develop responsive user interfaces using React
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and software maintenance
• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure software quality
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Support CI/CD deployment processes
• Work with AWS cloud services and infrastructure
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver software solutions

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 1 year full-time commercial software development experience
• Experience with PHP and at least one PHP framework such as CakePHP, Laravel, Symfony, or similar
• Experience with React Frameworks
• Experience with JavaScript and jQuery
• Strong HTML5 and CSS3 skills
• Experience writing and maintaining unit tests
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Basic experience with AWS services or similar technologies
• Experience with Git version control
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web application architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
