Job Description

  1. Perform day-to-day operations and maintenance of the bank’s enterprise network and voice infrastructure, including data center networks, office and branch networks, WAN / Internet connectivity, and Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)‐based unified communications systems.
  2. Monitor network and voice system availability, performance, capacity, and call quality; promptly respond to incidents, service degradation, and potential risks.
  3. Participate in the design, review, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the bank’s internal network architecture, in close collaboration with head office or supervising management entities, ensuring alignment with group standards, security requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  4. Participate in network and voice-related changes, upgrades, cutovers, patches, and maintenance activities, strictly following the bank’s change management, approval, and rollback procedures.
  5. Troubleshoot network and voice issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and drive corrective and preventive actions to improve overall service stability.
  6. Work closely with application, system, security, and operations teams to support system onboarding, expansion, and network/voice requirement assessments.
  7. Coordinate with external service providers, including telecom carriers, network and voice vendors, and maintenance service providers, to resolve faults and ensure service quality.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including network and voice diagrams, IP addressing plans, configuration backups, SOPs, and contingency procedures.
  9. Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance reviews by providing operational records, change evidence, and technical documentation related to network and voice systems.
  10. Participate in standardization, optimization, and automation initiatives for network and voice operations to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  11. Participate in on-call rotation and provide 7×24 production support as required.


Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise network administration or network engineering, preferably within a banking, financial services, or large-scale enterprise environment.
  3. Strong sense of ownership, risk awareness, and the ability to operate in a highly regulated production environment.
  4. Solid understanding of enterprise network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing and switching, VLAN, STP and EIGRP.
  5. Hands-on experience with network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
  6. Working knowledge of enterprise voice technologies, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), VoIP/SIP concepts, call routing, and QoS.
  7. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and voice issues involving connectivity, performance, routing, security policies, and call quality.
  8. Familiarity with network and voice monitoring/management tools and the ability to analyze logs and alerts.
  9. Basic scripting or automation skills (e.g. Shell, Python) to improve operational efficiency will be an advantage.
