Position summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to join our team. IN this role, you will lead the deployment of modern workplace solutions (including Sharepoint, OneDrive, collaboration & remote access tools) aimed at transforming the employee experience.
As a Project Manager within the financial services sector, you will bridge the gap between complex IT infrastructure and everyday business needs. Your primary goal will be to drive internal productivity, streamline cross-departmental collaboration, and ensure seamless user adoption across the bank, all while adhering to strict regulatory, compliance and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project leadership and execution
- End-to-end delivery: manage the full project lifecycle for digital workplace enhancements, from initial scoping and business case development through to deployment and hypercare.
- Timeline and budget ownership: track project milestones, manage resource allocation, and ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and on budget.
- Vendor and partner management: coordinate with external vendors, system integrators, and internal IT teams to ensure technical delivery aligns with business requirements.
- Stakeholder management and productivity focus
- User-centric solutioning: act as the voice of the end-user (bank staff), ensuring that newly implemented tools solve genuine pain points and measurably boost daily productivity.
- Cross-functional collaboration: partner with internal teams such as Compliance, Risk Management to ensure alignment and smooth rollouts.
- Executive reporting: prepare and present clear project roadmaps, risk assessments and status reports to SteerCo and senior leadership.
- Change Management and adoption
- Adoption strategy: work alongside change management to design and execute training programs, workshops, and communication plans that drive high user-adoption rates.
- Benefit realization: define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the productivity gains and ROI of implemented workplace tools.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Industry experience: 10+ years of Project Management experience, ideally within a bank, financial services institution, or a highly regulated environment.
- Domain expertise: proven track record of delivering Digital Workplace, Employee Experience, or Collaboration projects.
- Methodology: Strong proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies (PMP, Prince2 or Scrum Master certifications are highly desirable).
Technical and Regulatory Savvy
- Understanding of financial sector compliance, data privacy laws and risk management framework.
- Deep familiarity with M365 suite and its security/ governance capabilities.
Soft Skills
- Exceptional communication: ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, value-driven language for non-technical staff.
- Influence: strong interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders and navigate resistance to change.
- Problem-solving: a proactive mindset geared toward anticipating bottlenecks and resolving conflict efficiently.
