As a Data Analyst Intern within the Performance Acceleration Group, you’ll be immersed in a dynamic environment that values innovation and collaboration. Targeting ambitious students or recent graduates in quantitative fields, you’ll engage in meaningful projects that drive digitalization, AI, and automation initiatives. Your contributions will enhance team efficiency, influence client and partner strategies, and support Siemens Energy’s mission to advance sustainable energy solutions.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Collect, clean, and prepare data from various business systems to support analytical processes and ensure data integrity.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of performance dashboards and reports, providing insights for day-to-day monitoring and decision-making.
  • Conduct basic data analysis under the guidance of senior team members to identify trends and generate actionable insights.
  • Document data processes, definitions, and workflows to maintain team knowledge and streamline operations.
  • Contribute to digitalization, AI, and automation projects by performing tasks such as data gathering, testing, and tool research.
  • Support the preparation of presentations and communication materials to effectively convey project updates and findings.


What You Bring

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis through university projects, coursework, or personal initiatives.
  • Proficiency in data collection, preparation, and visualization, with a foundational understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with ETL tools like Alteryx, enhancing your ability to manage and manipulate data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to navigate complex challenges and dynamic environments.
  • Effective communication skills and learning agility, enabling you to collaborate with team members and contribute to innovative solutions.


About The Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
