This is an opportunity to join a specialist turnkey data centre solutions provider delivering high-specification technical environments for hyperscale and AI-driven clients across Europe.

The role will be based on a major data centre project in Nordland, Norway, supporting the delivery of mechanical infrastructure within a fast-paced white space, fit-out and technical delivery environment. You’ll be joining a business that provides full lifecycle data centre solutions, covering design, build, white space fit-out, connectivity, technical services and ongoing operational support.

The position would suit a Mechanical Project Manager with strong data centre experience who understands the pace, standards and coordination required to deliver mechanical packages in complex and highly technical environments.

Due to project requirements, candidates must hold EU nationality as a minimum. Existing or previous right to work in Norway would be highly advantageous.

What you’ll be doing

• Taking ownership of mechanical packages from planning and coordination through to installation, commissioning support, snagging and handover
• Coordinating subcontractors, supervisors, engineers and site teams across multiple work fronts
• Overseeing mechanical infrastructure associated with white space fit-out and technical data centre delivery
• Managing packages such as cooling systems, CRAHs, CRACs, chilled water systems, pipework, ventilation, ductwork, plantroom services, containment coordination and associated mechanical infrastructure
• Working closely with CSA, electrical, commissioning, connectivity, client-side and operational teams
• Reviewing drawings, technical submissions, RAMS, procurement schedules, progress reports and project documentation
• Driving short-term planning, lookaheads, daily coordination, progress meetings and issue resolution
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, to specification and in line with client requirements
• Supporting commissioning, integrated systems testing, snagging and close-out activity
• Acting as a key mechanical interface between the project team, client representatives and supply chain
• Helping maintain the high standards expected on hyperscale and AI-ready data centre projects

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Construction Manager or Senior Mechanical Engineer within data centre environments
• Strong experience delivering mechanical packages on hyperscale, colocation, AI-ready or mission-critical projects
• Good understanding of mechanical systems within data centres, particularly white space and technical fit-out environments
• Experience coordinating with electrical, commissioning, controls, connectivity and technical services teams would be highly advantageous
• Ability to manage subcontractors, site teams and multiple work fronts in a fast-paced project environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical cooling systems, chilled water, pipework, ventilation, ductwork, plantroom services and associated infrastructure
• Ability to interpret drawings, manage technical queries and drive works through to handover
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders
• Commercial and contractual awareness
• A delivery-focused mindset, with the ability to keep momentum across programme, quality and safety
• Previous data centre experience is essential - hyperscalers, AI-ready or neocloud environments even more so
