About the Role

You will be responsible for the analysis, design and develop data analytics projects of our energy solutions platforms in Turkey and abroad. You will report to the Data Analytics Manager.

Responsibilities

• Being a part of the team that develops data analytics projects of our energy solutions platforms, main EV charging station management platform and other external platforms.
• Make end-to-end developments for the DWH/BI/ML environment, perform necessary developments and changes in existing applications in accordance with standards.
• Generate ideas on how to use data more effectively.
• Managing the work of the team reporting to him/her.
• Engage in prototyping, designing, developing, publishing Power BI Reports.
• Prepare Power BI data models and report visualizations in accordance with best practices and security standards.
• Managing the structures we developed with Python for advanced analytics processes & ML and designing new processes with Python when needed.
• Defining data pipeline needs, profile and analyze source systems, working with source system and application owners to understand source data structures.
• Take part in the technical design works of the projects and helps to bring an overview to the set-up.
• Preparing data pipelines (with required data integration technology) and optimizing/maintaining data pipelines (Code Review & Tuning).
• Perform and manage ETL architecture and ETL flow designs (Enterprise DW/Datamart, ETL/ELT Development, Data Integration etc.).
• Perform unit tests in the projects it is involved in with the aim of observing quality standards, contribute to the design and development that oversees performance, provide and/or makes code reviews.
• Intervene in the problems in the infrastructure and take corrective and preventive actions in terms of quality.
• Observing the applications in the area of responsibility, notify the manager of possible performance and/or problems, take the necessary actions.
• Making presentations to departments and senior management about the improvements.
• Complete the necessary documentations.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Data Science or related fields.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in DWH, Data Analysis, Data Migration, Power BI, ETL terminology, Machine Learning and has taken an active role in these areas.

Technical Skills

• Experience in database technologies and strong SQL query writing skills, preferable MS SQL Server.
• Modelling and visualizing data from different business areas with Power BI.
• Experience working with data analytics processes using Python.
• Experience of end-to-end data analytics project development, preferably with Microsoft SSIS, Microsoft Fabric, n8n or similar ETL tools (SAP DataServices, Oracle ODI etc.).
• Understanding needs & requirement definition, problem identification and solution modeling, able to adapt to work with the software development team.
• Having knowledge of DWH architectural design and solutions.
• Having knowledge of Data Transformation & ETL Techniques.
• Having data modeling knowledge (with Sparx or PowerDesigner etc.) is a plus.
• Experience working with service management tools such as ManageEngine, Jira, Azure DevOps is a plus.
• Azure Data Pipeline (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics etc.) knowledge is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Being able to think analytically, practical and result-oriented.
• Effectively manage analytics teams, projects and requests to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Ability to translate data into business insights.
• Good communication skills to translate business requirements into data pipeline and Dashboards / Reporting.
• Strong written, verbal communication skills & inter-personal skills in English.
