Data Scientist Specialist

We are looking for a "Data Scientist” for our growing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of proven experience in data preparation, data analysis, feature engineering, machine learning, and AI implementation
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
• Knowledge of familiarity of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Plotly)
• Understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric is a plus
• Familiarity with energy sector data and renewable energy systems is a plus.

Job Description

• Develop and implement AI and machine learning models to optimize energy production, distribution, and consumption across Zorlu Energy's portfolio
• Analyze large datasets from renewable energy sources and market data to identify patterns and insights
• Design and build predictive models for energy forecasting, demand planning, and equipment maintenance
• Create automated data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data quality and accessibility
• Collaborate with other teams and consultants to implement AI solutions
• Support Business Understanding, Data Analysis, Data Preparation and/or AI modeling phases in AI Projects
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators and operational metrics
• Conduct statistical analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements
• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies and their potential applications in the energy sector
• Provide technical expertise and training to team members on data science and AI methodologies
• Monitor and maintain deployed models to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
