Project Manager – Credit Risk & Analytics
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading financial services client within a Risk & Analytics function. This role will lead the delivery of strategic initiatives focused on credit risk, customer monitoring, data analytics, and risk control enhancement across commercial banking operations.
You will work closely with business, risk, technology, and data teams to drive complex change programmes, ensuring successful delivery across scope, timelines, governance, and stakeholder management. Exposure to fraud or financial crime programmes would be advantageous, although the primary focus is broader risk and analytics transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of risk and analytics projects across business and technology teams
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across risk, operations, data, and technology functions
- Drive governance, status reporting, and delivery updates to senior leadership
- Support the implementation of data-driven risk management and monitoring solutions
- Ensure delivery aligns with regulatory expectations and internal control standards
- Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and stakeholder meetings
- Manage delivery risks, issues, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle
- Support continuous improvement across project delivery processes and operating models
Required Experience & Skills
- 2+ years proven Project Management experience within financial services, banking, or consulting environments
- Strong understanding of credit risk, data analytics, or regulatory change programmes
- Experience delivering complex business and technology transformation initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across senior business and technical teams
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously
- Strong governance, reporting, and risk management capabilities
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Desirable
- Exposure to fraud, financial crime, or non-financial risk programmes
- Experience managing data, reporting, or analytics-focused projects
- Familiarity with SQL, BI, or reporting platforms
- Knowledge of banking regulations and enterprise risk frameworks
- Relevant certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile certifications
