Product Designer - Partner Growth

Overview

The Partner Growth team is looking for a strong Product Design Contractor to join us. The team is focused on expanding Spotify’s experience beyond our core apps into partner ecosystems and connected devices.

This team works at the intersection of design, external partnerships, and emerging interaction models. Together with product managers, engineers, and researchers, you’ll help shape seamless and adaptive experiences across integrations that reach millions of users globally. This is an exciting opportunity to craft adaptive, inclusive experiences that connect listeners to what they love—anywhere, on any platform.

Details

• You’ll have the opportunity to contribute at various phases of product development, from ideation and explorations, to creating prototypes, testing, QA, and delivery.
• You’ll leverage AI in your process, joining your colleagues in experimenting with cutting edge ways of working across disciplines.
• You will be accountable for the quality, progress, and coherence of the work within a partnership and will need to build a depth of understanding about your partner's context, goals, and constraints
• You will be expected to attend weekly design team events and crits, along with regular cross-functional rituals. The majority of your collaborators will be based in Stockholm and the UK, with the addition of partners that span multiple timezones. Some early or late meetings will be required, but are infrequent.
  
  

Responsibilities

• UI/UX design: Create and communicate user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for various partner experiences across mobile and web experiences.
• Partner relationship management: Act as the connective tissue between a partner and our internal team. Strong communication is essential.
• User-centered approach: Conduct low stakes usability testing to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement in the desktop growth space. Gather feedback, and iterate on designs based on insights.
• Storytelling: Explain design explorations clearly, highlighting decisions and their implications to stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (PM, Eng, UR) to implement designs, ensuring consistency and quality throughout the process.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience in Product Design and working across platforms, integrations, or global products.
• Competent in scaling partner agnostic foundations into partner surfaces and contexts.
• Skilled in Figma and prototyping tools; eager to explore AI-enabled workflows.
• Collaborative and curious, motivated by working with cross disciplinary and cross-cultural teams, along with external partners.
• Comfortable balancing speed, structure, and creativity in a fast-moving environment.
• Bonus: experience crafting designs for APAC markets or AI-adjacent interfaces (assistants, messaging apps, OEM devices).
