🚗 Android Developer – Automotive Infotainment

📍 Gothenburg, Sweden

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join an innovative automotive team developing next-generation infotainment solutions.

As an Android Infotainment Software Developer, you will be responsible for delivering complete features across the Android stack, from application development to native layers and hardware abstraction layers (HAL) in C++. You will collaborate closely with UX teams, partners, and stakeholders to create seamless end-to-end user experiences for modern vehicles.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android infotainment features

• Work across application, framework, native, and HAL layers

• Define architecture, documentation, implementation, verification, and validation activities

• Develop automated tests and support CI/CD processes

• Perform validation through automated testing as well as hands-on testing in vehicles and test rigs

• Collaborate with UX/UI teams and cross-functional engineering teams

🔹 Required Skills

• Experience in Android application development

• 4+ years of software development using Java and Kotlin

• MSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience

• Strong experience with AOSP and the Android build system

• Solid understanding of MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture, and modern Android development practices

• Experience working in Linux environments

• Experience developing automated unit and integration tests

• Hands-on experience with Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins

• Automotive and Infotainment domain experience

• Experience collaborating with UX/UI teams
