Job description

Within the Digital Channels Enabling grid, our main focus is to provide the foundation for the ABN AMRO app. As an Android developer in our grid, you play a key role in delivering these services. Together with your interdisciplinary team, you are responsible for several features in the ABN AMRO app. You will engage in research and innovation, continuously exploring new technologies and methodologies to keep us at the forefront of the industry. You will also contribute to guild activities, collaborating with peers to share knowledge and best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

You will be working on:

Development and maintenance of native features for Android

Working on resolving legacy code including making features accessible

Proactive collaboration with team to refine future functionalities

The scope of the assignment is for at least a year. The focus is on these functional responsibilities (among others):

Requirements

At least 5+ years of experience as a developer in Android

Proficiency in Kotlin

Experience with modular architecture

Comprehensive testing practices

Innovation and adaptability

Jetpack Compose

Proactive and productive approach in team communication

Experience with Firebase products is a plus

Experience with Koin

Experience with CI/CD

Coaching capabilities
