The Role

At Hygglo, all engineers are full-stack. We believe in flexibility, ownership, and curiosity.

As a Fullstack Engineer, you’ll take ownership of product and technical improvements from idea to production. You’ll work on user-facing flows, marketplace quality, payments, trust and safety, performance, internal tools, and the systems that help Hygglo scale across Europe.

You’ll work across our stack:

• React Native & Expo – developing and improving our mobile apps.
• Next & Vercel – building our web experience.
• Node.js & TypeScript – powering our backend services.
• PostgreSQL – designing and optimizing our database schemas.

You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team where your voice matters — from product discussions to architecture decisions.

You’ll also help us explore how modern AI tools and automation can improve both our product and the way we build it — from faster development workflows to smarter marketplace quality, fraud detection, support tooling, categorization, and user experiences.

Must have

• Experience with, or a strong interest in working with, JavaScript/Node.js.
• Experience with, or a strong interest in working with, React and React Native.
• Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD practices.
• A genuine interest in product development.
• You want to work with the team from our Stockholm office, where we collaborate in person most days.
• Humble, collaborative, and open to working across the full stack.

Should have

• Strong skills in TypeScript.
• Professional experience with SQL, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with ORMs and modern frontend frameworks.
• Interest in Hygglo’s business and mission.
• Curiosity about how AI and automation can improve products, workflows, and user experiences.

Nice to have

• Understanding of performance optimization in React Native.
• Experience with Expo and mobile app distribution via App Store and Google Play.
• Experience with payment systems, such as Stripe, and/or fraud detection.
• Deep backend or database expertise.
• Experience developing native modules for iOS or Android.
