Project Manager - Industry 4.0 & Manufacturing

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead the structured execution of complex, cross-functional development projects, ensuring transparency, alignment, and disciplined governance from kickoff to closure
• Coordinate or lead interdisciplinary technical development projects spanning mechatronics, embedded systems, and system-level integration
• Apply project management tools, processes, and governance frameworks to keep programmes on track and stakeholders aligned
• Act as the central point of coordination across engineering, production, quality, procurement, and product management
• Prepare decision-ready analyses, status reports, and steering documents for senior leadership
• Proactively manage risks and issues, and run structured change processes across complex projects and programmes
• Contribute to the rollout of Factory 4.0 initiatives : connected equipment, digital twins, OEE monitoring, and data-driven process improvement
• Support process excellence efforts using PFMEA and Lean Six Sigma methodologies

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering & Business, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• 5 to 8 years of experience driving complex, cross-functional development projects
• Solid understanding of business-economic correlations, cost structures, and scenario evaluation
• Proven track record coordinating stakeholders across engineering, production, quality, procurement, and product management
• Strong command of the MS Office suite (5+ years)
• Fluent English; German is an asset

NICE TO HAVE

• Lean Six Sigma certification: Black Belt ideally
• Experience with Planview or similar project portfolio management tools
• Background in industrial automation: PLC, SCADA, MES
• Exposure to IoT-enabled manufacturing systems and smart factory environments
