About the role:

We are looking for a technical profile with dual coverage: operational dashboard development combined with the implementation of AI/ML capabilities on top of data. Both areas are focused on data consumption and value generation through Streamlit interfaces and Cortex AI functionalities for natural language querying, anomaly detection, and forecasting.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain operational dashboards in Snowflake.
• Design simple and intuitive UIs for non-technical users (GM, area managers).
• Implement basic filters: brand, location, date range, revenue center.
• Design and build a conversational AI chat using Snowflake Cortex AI, with support for Romanian and English.
• Natural language querying on Gold Layer data, with context-aware prompts adapted to the restaurant/retail domain.
• Integrate AI chat into Streamlit dashboards for end users.
• Implement guardrails and access controls aligned with RLS from the user table.
• Automatically generate insights: daily/weekly performance summaries, anomaly alerts (budget deviations, fiscal Z discrepancies, unusual patterns per location).
• Build forecasting models for sales and transaction volume (short-term and YoY).
• Develop automated narrative summaries for management reports.
• Build, train, and maintain ML models using Snowflake ML or Snowpark ML.
• Manage model versioning, monitoring, and retraining pipelines.

Technical Skills Required

Must Have:

• 3+ years of experience with Python or other scripting/backend languages.
• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML Engineering or Data Science.
• Experience building conversational AI interfaces or chatbots.
• Prompt engineering for domain-specific use cases.
• Streamlit or similar dashboard frameworks.
• Snowflake Cortex AI (LLM functions, search, classification).
• SQL for Snowflake querying.
• Snowpark ML or similar frameworks (scikit-learn, XGBoost).

Nice to have:

• Snowpark Python.
• RAG – Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
• Time-series forecasting.
