Job Summary: We are seeking a visionary Video Game Composer to craft dynamic, immersive scores that elevate our upcoming titles. As a Remote Video Game Composer, you will design and implement the sonic identity of our games. You will act as the creative force behind our soundtracks, you will compose thematic materials that align with our game's narrative, characters, and environments. You will build highly adaptable, interactive music systems that respond to real-time player choices and dynamic gameplay scenarios.

As a Remote Video Game Composer, you will design and implement the sonic identity of our games. You will act as the creative force behind our soundtracks, you will compose thematic materials that align with our game's narrative, characters, and environments. You will build highly adaptable, interactive music systems that respond to real-time player choices and dynamic gameplay scenarios.
Job Responsibilities
- Composition & Production: Compose and produce original high-quality musical scores, ranging from environmental ambient tracks to intense combat and cinematic themes.
- Interactive Scoring: Develop dynamic and adaptive musical layers/stems that respond to player actions and changing in-game environments.
- Collaboration: Partner with narrative designers, producers, and sound designers to ensure the music flawlessly complements the game's mood and pacing.
- Game Integration: Implement musical assets into the game engine and audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD) to ensure seamless loops and transitions.
- Revisions: Iterate rapidly on musical ideas and mixes based on constructive feedback and playtesting sessions.
- Asset Management: Ensure all audio files are properly organized, exported, labeled, and delivered on schedule according to technical specifications.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience composing music for video games, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse musical styles and successful titles.
- Expert-level command over standard Digital Audio Workstations (e.g., Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton, or Pro Tools).
- Familiarity with integrating music into game engines (e.g., Unity or Unreal Engine) and audio middleware (e.g., Wwise or FMOD).
- Deep understanding of music theory, orchestration, arrangement, and familiarity with high-quality virtual instrument libraries.
- A fully equipped professional home studio capable of producing studio-standard deliverables.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective virtual collaboration; receptive to creative direction and able to manage tight project deadlines.
