Finatal are partnering with a leading international technology business to appoint a Senior Data Scientist. Sitting within a central data function, this role will focus on delivering end-to-end Data Science and AI initiatives across multiple business units and markets. You will take ownership of projects from opportunity identification and requirements gathering through to machine learning model development, AI and LLM implementation, production deployment and communicating business impact. Alongside the technical delivery, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to translate complex analysis into measurable commercial outcomes across growth, customer engagement, pricing and operational performance.

Role:

• Own the end-to-end delivery of Data Science and AI projects, from problem definition through to deployment and adoption.

• Build and implement machine learning models and analytical solutions that drive commercial outcomes across areas such as conversion, retention, pricing, and customer behaviour.

• Partner closely with Product, Growth, Commercial and Operational stakeholders to identify opportunities and prioritise initiatives.

• Translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business leaders and decision-makers.

• Design and implement AI, Machine Learning and LLM-driven solutions that improve decision-making and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

• Contribute to the development of scalable Data Science and AI capabilities within a fast-paced, international environment.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on Data Science experience with advanced Python and SQL skills, experience building and deploying Machine Learning models in production environments, and exposure to cloud platforms and large-scale data processing technologies such as PySpark.

• Experience working with AI, Generative AI and LLM-based applications, applying them to solve real business and operational challenges.

• Proven ability to own projects end-to-end, from problem definition and stakeholder engagement through to deployment and measurable business impact.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience translating complex technical concepts into actionable recommendations.
