Role Overview

As an Agentic AI Engineer at Capgemini, you will be at the forefront of transforming software delivery through AI-powered agents and intelligent systems. What You'll

Do- Design and build AI-powered agents to enhance SDLC processes such as coding, testing, reviews, and operations- Develop scalable GenAI and agentic architectures that integrate seamlessly into engineering ecosystems- Convert prototypes into reusable, production-grade platforms and accelerators- Drive architectural decisions balancing scalability, reliability, cost, and performance- Embed AI capabilities into developer tools and workflows to improve productivity- Measure and track the business impact of agentic systems- Mentor teams in adopting AI-first engineering practices

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

Design scalable and production-ready GenAI systems

Build portable AI platforms using modern cloud technologies- Lead API, event-driven, and AI workflow architectures- Ensure governance, security, and performance of AI systems.

Collaboration

Work closely with engineering, product, and business teams- Translate ideas into scalable technical solutions- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Engineering Mindset

Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset- Ability to move across technologies

as needed- Focus on delivering simple yet impactful solutions.

Skills & Experience

-5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, ML Engineering, or related fields

- Strong programming skills with polyglot mindset

- Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices

- Hands-on experience with GenAI, LLMs, and agent-based systems

- Experience building and deploying production-grade applications

- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep)

- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and reliability

- Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and AI governance
