Join Our Client's Team as a Full-Stack Engineer

On behalf of our client, a startup based in Amsterdam, we're looking for full-stack engineers to join the team. This is a high-impact role where the successful candidates' work will directly shape both the product and the company. The client is hiring at multiple levels, from engineers a few years into their career to experienced hands ready to take on ownership.

Stack: TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js

Location: Amsterdam (hybrid)

Salary: up to €85,000

About the role

Depending on seniority, the engineer will:

• Build and maintain full-stack features across frontend and backend
• Translate product requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions
• Improve the performance, reliability, and usability of the platform
• Write clean, readable, well-tested code
• Collaborate closely with product, operations, and leadership
• Contribute ideas to improve the company's technology and processes
• For more senior hires: take ownership of the technical architecture, make pragmatic trade-offs, and mentor other engineers as the team grows

Who they are looking for

• 2+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer (more senior candidates very welcome)
• Comfortable working across frontend and backend
• Curious, pragmatic, and eager to take ownership
• Thinks in terms of systems, scalability, and long-term maintainability
• Able to work independently in a fast-moving environment
• Fluent in English
• Based in the Netherlands
