About the Role

We’re looking for a Founding Engineer — someone who doesn’t just want to “write code,” but wants to build a company.

You’ll work directly with the founders (Ties & Sara) to shape the product, architecture, and culture from the ground up.

You’ll own big parts of our stack, help make the key technical decisions, and ensure that the platform we ship is both beautiful and rock-solid. This is not a 9-to-5 role. It’s the kind of position for someone who loves to move fast, take full responsibility, and build something meaningful that touches thousands of users.

What You’ll Do

• Help define and build the core architecture of Aivory’s SaaS platform.
• Translate real customer pain points into elegant, scalable solutions.
• Collaborate closely with the founders on product direction, design, and feature prioritization.
• Implement AI-driven workflows that automate real-world dental processes.
• Help grow the engineering team and establish best practices as we scale.

Who You Are

• You have a strong product mindset — you love to ship, iterate, and improve.
• You’re comfortable working in ambiguity and thrive in early-stage environments.
• You can work independently and make things happen fast.
• You’re curious about the intersection of AI, healthcare, and great product design.
• You bring solid technical experience in modern web stacks (Angular, NestJS, Node.js, Python, or similar) and are comfortable connecting APIs and building reliable systems.
• You’re based in the Netherlands (remote-first, but we meet regularly in Amsterdam, Utrecht).
• Most importantly: you have a startup mentality — ownership, grit, and long-term vision.
