Data Engineer

Our iGaming software is designed for distribution to casino and sportsbook operators across the EU, USA, and Asia.

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. You'll design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL. You'll build reliable ETL/ELT workflows connecting databases and analytics platforms. You'll work with ClickHouse and other analytical databases. You'll partner with analysts and product teams to deliver trusted datasets. We value proactive problem-solvers with a drive to grow their skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and deliver data across operational and analytical systems.
• Build reliable ETL/ELT workflows to efficiently move data between transactional databases, data warehouses, and business intelligence platforms.
• Design and implement data models that support reporting, analytics, and business decision-making while ensuring data consistency and quality.
• Continuously improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of data processing solutions and analytical workloads.
• Partner with analysts, product teams, and software engineers to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality datasets and reporting solutions.
• Implement validation, monitoring, and quality-assurance processes to ensure trusted, accurate data across the organisation.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience building and maintaining production data pipelines and data processing solutions.
• Strong experience developing data processing, automation, or integration solutions using Python.
• Excellent SQL knowledge, including complex querying, data transformation, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modelling, and analytical data architectures.
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows and integrating data from multiple sources.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and familiarity with analytical database platforms such as ClickHouse, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar.
• Understanding of data structures, business metrics, and analytical reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to design scalable and maintainable data solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Things we consider as an advantage:

• Experience with ClickHouse or other column-oriented analytical databases.
• Experience with Change Data Capture (CDC) solutions and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with orchestration and workflow tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or similar.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and data warehouses.
• Experience working with large-scale analytical datasets.

Monthly salary range for this position: € 4500-6000 (before tax deduction). The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate.
