3D Creature animator (mid or senior level)

Appeal Studios (www.appeal-studios.com) is a ~60-person game development studio that is part of the THQ Nordic family and is in Charleroi (Belgium).  We recently released Outcast - A New Beginning and Gangs of Sherwood and are looking for new talents to bolster our team on our latest action game project.  

We are looking for a 3D Creature animator (mid or senior level)

• On-site, hybrid-remote depending on profile  
• Contact with team and daily updates required  
• Based on profile, a test may be required 

Responsabilities

For this position, we are looking for skilled 3D creature animator who like to work in UE. We are working on AAA-quality game in a realistic style.  

At Appeal Studios, 3D Animator work on creation of animations (in keyframe or mocap) for gameplay and narrative sequences, prototyping, integration, testing and polishing of animations in the engine, take part in motion capture sessions... They are under the direct supervision of our Art Directors.  

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of Maya 
• At least 3 years' experience is required 
• Experience in AA or AAA game art development for PC and/or consoles
• Experience in realistic animation creation for real-time games 
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5 is a plus 
• Experience with motion capture is a plus
• A good English level is required
