About the Role

We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join a cross-functional Agile team delivering modern, user-focused web applications. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Product Design, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to build high-quality frontend solutions that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.

The successful candidate will take ownership of frontend development activities throughout the software development lifecycle, from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

• Work within a cross-functional Agile team, participating in planning, design, development, testing, and release activities.
• Collaborate with Product Designers and stakeholders to understand user requirements and translate them into effective frontend solutions.
• Take end-to-end ownership of frontend features and components, ensuring high quality and maintainability.
• Develop clean, scalable, and performant applications using modern frontend technologies and best practices.
• Write well-tested code with appropriate unit and integration test coverage.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to engineering quality standards.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services through REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Ensure applications are secure, responsive, accessible, and compatible across modern browsers and devices.
• Contribute to troubleshooting, monitoring, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve code quality, development processes, and user experience.
• Support technical design discussions and provide constructive feedback during implementation planning.
• Work collaboratively within distributed and international teams while continuously developing technical skills.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience building production-grade applications using modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and DOM manipulation.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience writing unit tests and integration tests using modern testing frameworks.
• Experience working with frontend build tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of secure frontend development practices and web application security principles.
• Experience delivering responsive, cross-browser compatible web applications.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools for coding, testing, accessibility validation, or productivity enhancement.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience collaborating within Agile teams.
• Experience working in international or multi-site environments, including remote collaboration.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working in early-stage or high-growth technology companies.
• Experience within regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences.
• Exposure to cloud-native application development and modern DevOps practices.
