IT Engineer

Job Purpose:

To manage, implement, and maintain the company’s IT systems and infrastructure while ensuring a smooth IT operation at all times. Undertake the implementation of IT security management, network and systems infrastructure, and overall IT administration and SAP Support, Provide IT services required to manage business processes such as production, inventory management, supply, finance, and sales, while acting as the focal point between the IT department and end-users to ensure smooth operation of the corporate systems, resolve any issues, and ensure that IT is used to its full potential across the Company

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust IT security policies and procedures.
• Design, deploy, and manage the plant’s IT network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Manage IT operations, including hardware procurement, software licensing, and inventory management.
• Work closely with the management on IT initiatives & Implementation
• Provide first-line support for all system related issues and incidents raised by end-users, ensuring timely resolution of any problems.
• Offer ongoing support to users in their daily tasks, addressing any questions, concerns, or difficulties related to system usage.
• Assist in implementing process improvements or system upgrades & configurations

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor Degree in IT , computer Science or related subject, with 5 to 8 years hands-on experience in IT systems
• Strong knowledge of IT security best practices and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with network design and system administration.
• Experience in providing training and guidance to end-users with varying technical knowledge.
• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Knowledge and SAP support is a plus
