We’re partnering with a high-performance trading technology client who are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to help build and maintain ultra-low latency global infrastructure supporting mission-critical systems.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on performance, reliability, and scalability across trading, market data, and inter-site connectivity environments.

You’ll work within a small, highly technical team with real ownership and autonomy across a globally distributed infrastructure estate.

Senior Network Engineer – Key Responsibilities

• Design and support low-latency network infrastructure
• Optimise high-performance network environments
• Support colocation deployments and exchange connectivity
• Troubleshoot latency, packet loss, multicast and performance issues
• Maintain resilient WAN and data centre connectivity
• Improve monitoring, observability and automation across the network stack
• Support high-availability switching, routing and security platforms

Senior Network Engineer – Key Skills Required

• Strong experience in network engineering within performance-critical environments
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, L2/L3 networking and multicast
• Experience troubleshooting complex production network issues
• Strong Linux networking fundamentals
• Exposure to automation/scripting (Python, Bash, Ansible etc.)
• Experience with Cisco, Arista or similar enterprise networking platforms

Desirable:

• Financial services / trading / exchange connectivity experience
• Low latency optimisation exposure
• Packet analysis / telemetry / observability tooling
• Experience within distributed or high-performance compute environments
