Aspero is Yubi’s B2C wealth platform built to democratize access to fixed-income investments for individual investors. We’re on a mission to make smart, secure investing simple — and design is at the heart of how we deliver on that promise. We’re looking for a Product Designer who brings strategic vision, deep craft, and a strong consumer lens to shape how Aspero looks, feels, and communicates — across both product and marketing.
The Role
We’re hiring a Product Designer to define and drive the end-to-end design vision for Aspero’s consumer-facing platform. This is a strategic, high-ownership role where you will establish the design language and visual identity that unifies the product experience and marketing presence — ensuring Aspero speaks with a single, coherent voice to every retail investor it touches.
You will work at the intersection of product design, brand, and marketing — setting design standards that scale across teams and channels. Beyond pixels, you’ll mentor designers, influence product strategy, and be a key voice in how Aspero builds trust with everyday investors.
What You’ll Do
- Define and own Aspero’s design language — including typography, colour system, iconography, spacing, motion, and tone — creating a cohesive visual identity that reflects the brand’s values of trust, clarity, and accessibility.
- Establish a unified design theme that works seamlessly across product (web and mobile) and marketing (landing pages, campaigns, social, print) — ensuring every touchpoint feels distinctly Aspero.
- Build, govern, and evolve a scalable design system and component library that design and marketing teams can use consistently and independently.
- Lead the end-to-end design of core product experiences — from discovery and user research through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI.
- Translate complex financial journeys (onboarding, KYC, portfolio management, investment discovery) into simple, intuitive flows that feel accessible to first-time investors.
- Partner with product managers, brand, and marketing teams to align design direction with business strategy and campaign goals.
- Mentor and guide designers on the team, setting quality standards and fostering a culture of craft and customer empathy.
- Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure high-quality, pixel-accurate implementation.
- Champion the voice of the customer in cross-functional discussions, bringing research, data, and design insight to every conversation.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of design experience, with a meaningful track record in B2C consumer products — ideally fintech, banking, e-commerce, or other high-trust, high-engagement domains.
- Demonstrated experience defining or significantly contributing to a brand’s design language, visual identity, or design system that spans product and marketing contexts.
- A strong portfolio that reflects both strategic thinking and executional craft — showing how your design decisions shaped user behavior, brand perception, or business outcomes.
- Deep proficiency in Figma (component libraries, variables, auto-layout, design tokens, and prototyping).
- Experience leading or mentoring a design team, with the ability to set direction, give feedback, and raise the quality bar.
- Strong grasp of cross-channel design consistency — understanding how product UI and marketing visuals reinforce each other.
- Experience simplifying complex information architectures and multi-step user journeys for a non-expert, consumer audience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — comfortable presenting design rationale to senior leadership and aligning cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in wealth management, personal finance, or investment platforms.
- Hands-on experience building or evolving a design system used by both product and marketing teams.
- Familiarity with motion design and micro-interactions as part of the overall design language.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
- Basic understanding of front-end constraints (HTML/CSS, design tokens) to collaborate more fluidly with engineers.
- Experience working in early-stage or growth-stage product environments where design standards need to be built from scratch.
