Product Quality Assurance Manager

The Manager – Product Quality Assurance (Breeder & Hatching Eggs) is responsible for leading, governing, monitoring, and continuously improving all quality assurance systems, technical compliance, operational quality, biosecurity, poultry health, hatching eggs quality, product integrity, and operational quality governance activities across the full breeder and hatching egg production cycle.

The role is responsible for ensuring the consistent production, handling, storage, transportation, and delivery of premium-quality hatching eggs and high-performing DOCs in line with international poultry industry standards, operational excellence requirements, and customer expectations.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance & Technical Compliance

• Establish and implement integrated quality assurance systems across breeder and hatching egg operations.

• Monitor and audit the full breeder production cycle from receiving DOCs until delivery of hatching eggs to customers.

• Ensure consistent production of premium-quality hatching eggs and high-performing DOCs.

• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations.

• Lead Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) systems.

2. Operational Farm Monitoring & Quality Inspections:

• Conduct regular and unannounced inspections across breeder farms and operational facilities.

• Monitor flock management practices, egg collection, grading, fumigation, storage, sanitation, handling, and transportation.

• Monitor flock-age performance trends and their operational impact.

3. Vaccination, Biosecurity & Veterinary Compliance:

• Monitor vaccine handling, preparation, administration, and compliance standards.

• Ensure strict implementation of biosecurity standards across all operational areas.

• Coordinate laboratory testing, technical validation, and corrective actions.

• Lead investigation of potential vertically transmitted disease risks where applicable.

4. Feed Quality & Feedmill Monitoring:

• Monitor feed quality, feed ingredients, feedmill operations, storage conditions, and feed handling practices.

• Identify feed-related risks affecting breeder performance and hatchability.

5. Customer Quality & Field Performance Monitoring:

• Monitor customer complaints, rejection reports, hatchability concerns, mortality allegations, and field performance issues.

• Conduct technical field visits and post-delivery performance reviews.

• Improve customer confidence and restore product credibility in the market.

6. Risk Management & Operational Stability:

• Develop operational, technical, and environmental risk monitoring systems.

• Establish early warning systems for operational and quality risks.

• Develop containment and emergency response plans for critical operational incidents.

7. Laboratory & Technical Validation Coordination:

• Coordinate with internal and external laboratories regarding technical testing.

• Review laboratory findings and technical validations.

8. Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence:

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across operational quality systems.

• Develop programs to improve efficiency and reduce operational deviations.

9. Data Analytics & Technical Reporting:

• Analyze hatchability trends, fertility trends, mortality patterns, and rejection rates.

• Develop quality dashboards and operational quality reports.

10. Documentation & Governance:

• Ensure full traceability of products and operational activities.

• Maintain audit documentation and technical investigation records.

Qualifications & Experience Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in breeder farms, hatching eggs, hatchery operations, poultry production, poultry quality assurance, or biosecurity management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in integrated poultry operations.

• Experience with international breeder standards and technical compliance systems.

• Experience managing multi-site poultry operations.
